Departing
from the philosophy that commercial faucets should look
institutional, GROHE's handsome Eurodisc SE appeals to
design sensibilities yet is built to withstand the rigors
of commercial installations. But more important are the
benefits and technological advances of the Eurodisc SE
over traditional hydraulically controlled self-closing
systems: extremely light actuation pressure is an
especially important consideration for people with
physical disabilities; constant water running time for
water savings; and easy installation and
maintenance.
GROHE's
Eurodisc SE features an adjustable running time of 2 to
60 seconds and can be calibrated without tools or
disassembly with a simple series of tap commands on the
faucet's cap. Unlike hydraulic systems, the electronic
Eurodisc SE allows the water flow to also be shut-off
with a second tap of the cap for even more water savings.
A 6-volt Lithium battery (included) has an estimated
lifetime of 10 years (rated at 150 cycles/day) and can be
changed easily from above the counter. All electronic
components are contained within the durable all-brass
faucet body and are completely accessible from above the
counter as well.
Eurodisc
SE also features key vandal resistance components.
Intentional locking down of the cap will not lead to
flooding because the SE includes an automatic safety stop
after 60 seconds of run time. Additionally, a metal
switch shield prevents damage to the electronic switch
mechanism from purposeful pounding on the cap. An
optional rotation lock system is also
available.
Though
competitively priced, GROHE maintains its reputation for
solid quality with Eurodisc SE. Additional features
include low-noise operation; stainless steel flexible
supplies for easy installation; an extremely durable,
easy-to-clean polished chrome finish; and optional flow
controls for added water conservation.
GROHE's
Eurodisc SE is available with or without a temperature
control lever.
