In
polished brass, the GROHE InfinityFinish delivers an
exquisitely radiant color. The InfinityFinishprocess
produces a seemingly transparent surface that creates a
glistening watery-type effect -- more "polished" and
"metallic" looking than previous polished brass finishes.
And, due to its stability, the GROHE InfinityFinish will
not dull.
In
satin nickel, the GROHE InfinityFinish delivers a rich,
luxuious finish to the eye and to touch.
The
GROHE InfinityFinish utilizes the most advanced level of
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) technology available
today. The process utilizes a specialized system of
ionized gases to facilitate molecular adhesion of atoms.
This chemical reaction creates a hard, stable surface
finish that is physically bonded to the brass faucet body
(unlike previous coating or lacquering techniques which
could wear off or discolor). Simply put, the GROHE
InfinityFinish will maintain its deep, lustrous color and
glassy-smooth surface even when subjected to harsh
cleaning agents and abrasives.
For
nearly 30 years the PVD process has been available for
specialized applications in the automotive and aeronautic
fields, as well as for scientific and industrial tools.
Now, GROHE's InfinityFinish technology has been advanced
to the point where today it is available for your
home.
