As
"Safety Valves" are becoming required by code throughout
the United States, the Grohtemp thermostat system insures
a maximum of bathing safety for everyone, but is
particularly important for small children, physically
disabled people & elderly people. Accurate to w/in
1°F, temperature is selected by dialing either the
notched or lever Chiara handle w/ the 60-110°
comfort zone. The new handle design also features a
safety stop at 100° for added protection.
The
Grohtemp thermostat valve is available in a 1/2" version
w/ or w/out an integrated volume control. The 3/4"
Grohtemp thermostat valve requires a separate volume
control & is ideally suited to large multiple-head
custom shower systems. Given adequate water pressure, the
3/4" Grohtemp valve can supply enough water to
simultaneously power a shower head, a personal hand
shower & up to four body sprays while automatically
maintaining a specific water temperature at each
outlet.
The
elegant Chiara design features distinctive color accents
& is available w/ lever or grip ring handles. The
arched lines of the Chiara trim is an ideal compliment to
Grohe's Chiara faucet line & Relexa Plus™ shower
products line, but is equally well suited to any Grohe
design style.
Grohtemp
thermostat valves meet the stringent safety valve
requirements of ASSE Standard 1016.
