how to clean cast iron

Sinks, Lavatories, Baths 

  • Rinse thoroughly after each use.

  • In the rare occurrence of stubborn stains, use abrasives or abrasive cleaners sparingly.

  • Use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry after each use.

  • Use a soft nylon brush on the tub bottom's Safeguard surface.

  • Do not use steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads.

  • Be careful not to leave dirty dishes, coffee grounds, tea bags or other staining materials in contact w/ the enamel surface for long periods of time.

A simple way to keep your sink looking good, longer - Kohler sink accessories, including bottom basin racks, wire rinse baskets, cutting board & colanders will help to protect the surface of your sink.

Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface.
Rinse completely.
Wipe surfaces clean immediately after applying cleaner. Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak.
Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Do not use an abrasive material to wipe surfaces clean.
